TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
The information on this page provides technology resources to support distance learning and student academic engagement. The resources below are intended to ensure all students continue to learn in ways that are as closely aligned to the CWC instructional model as possible.
NEW: In light of recent issues surrounding video chats amongst students, CWC will be suspending the ability of students to create video chats and meetings in CWC-issued Gmail accounts. Teachers will retain their ability to create video chats with students as needed. Teachers will be able to send video chat invitations to students, but student to student invitations will no longer be permitted.
Students will be able to continue using text-based chat functions in Gmail to communicate with other students. CWC administrators will continue to monitor these communications to ensure student safety and adherence to CWC’s online behavior guidelines for digital citizenship.
Should you have any questions, please reach out to your school’s office.
HOTSPOT ROLL-OUT (posted 9/11/2020)
We appreciate your patience as we wait for additional hotspots to arrive to distribute to our families over the coming weeks. We have placed an order for additional hotspots and expect them to arrive soon. As devices become available, we will be providing them first to families most in need. If you are not able to engage in distance learning because you do not have a device for your child or because you do not have internet connectivity, please contact your school’s office at the numbers below.

Student Emails & Login Instructions
CWC student emails are standardized using the student’s firstname.lastname@cwcschool.org. Please reference the CWC LA Technical Support FAQ (English | Español | 한국어) on page 2 for detailed instructions on how to login, how to identify your student’s email & temporary password, and how to seek out tech support.
All student email accounts (new and returning students alike) have been assigned new temporary passwords. Upon initial login, your student will be prompted to assign a permanent password. If you or your student are unable to login using the instructions outlined, please reach out to your school’s tech support hotline to verify your students’ account information.
Who Needs to Pick up a CWC Device?
Chromebooks are only required for middle school students (grades 6-8). Elementary school students can use a personal device (such as a tablet with keyboard, computer, etc.).
If you would like to return a Chromebook that you do not need so that we can prioritize the device for another student in need, please contact your school’s main office. For middle school students who do not yet have a device, families can use a personal device until a school-issued Chromebook is ready for you.
If you are not able to engage in distance learning because you do not have a device for your child or because you do not have internet connectivity, please contact your school’s office at the number below:
