Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Expansion Fund

What is the DEI Expansion Fund?

The DEI Expansion Fund is an initiative to sustain and expand regional diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) commitments that will also scale and sustain our school communities’ DEI work. We hope to build on existing DEI investments and strategies across the region to amplify and deepen our work, as well as ensure DEI priorities are funded on a multi-year horizon.

How does CWC LA plan to EXPAND on DEI priorities?

Because of our deep commitment to this ongoing journey of growth and improvement, we consider our dedication to DEI as our “forever work.” By building an additional base of support and creating new partnerships around DEI, the goal is to reinforce, deepen, and sustain our investments in these priorities across all school communities. Examples include:

Funding curriculum “wish lists”

Additional investments in staff from historically marginalized groups

Employee and Family Handbook audits using outside expertise

Additional professional development and skill building with outside expertise

Sustainable translation solutions
