During distance learning, CWC LA will offer free lunches to our community for any students ages 0-18. This means any families and/or siblings in the CWC LA community would be able to visit our Grab-&-Go Distribution Centers to receive up to five days of pre-packaged meals that can be frozen/heated at home for each child.

Meal distribution will continue weekly as scheduled on Mondays from 2pm to 5pm at either of our distribution centers:

CWC Mar Vista Gateway site: 11561 Gateway Boulevard, LA, CA 90064 (CWC Mar Vista/CWC West Valley families recommended distribution site)

CWC Silver Lake TK-5 site: 110 N. Coronado Avenue, LA, CA 90026 (CWC Silver Lake & CWC Hollywood families recommended distribution site)

The USDA has recently extended meal waivers through June 2021 that allow schools to provide meals to households free of charge. This includes households that submitted lunch applications this year and received a Reduced or Paid designation. We will continue with the distribution to all families free of charge to all households as long as the meal waivers are in effect.

This, however, does not mean that all households are eligible for additional supports such as Pandemic EBT or discounts in programs such as after school or enrichment typically offered by CWC LA.

We are highly encouraging any household that was eligible for a free or reduced-priced meal in the previous school year to submit an application by or before December 11, 2020. We also encourage any household who has experienced hardship due to COVID-19 to submit an application and any household who believes they may qualify for a free or reduced eligibility to do so.

You may access your school’s meal application by clicking HERE. If you need your login information, please email lunch@cwclosangeles.org
