Why CWC
Diverse by Design.
We believe students excel academically when they learn with those of different backgrounds. Our schools intentionally reflect the communities we serve. CWC LA is committed to hiring, retaining and promoting diverse staff and ensuring diverse CWC staff feel included in the organization’s culture.
Academic Excellence.
CWC supports the growth and development of the whole child, helping children develop the ability to understand their feelings and those of others and how to channel their feelings and behaviors to support themselves and others. Since day one, our school model combines academic rigor and social emotional development in every aspect of what our students experience during the day.
Strong Community.
CWC LA creates a space to celebrate diversity of all types and has developed organizational procedures to implement a model where everyone (students, parents, staff) can learn important skills.
